Redundancy repeats itself
Exponentially
Nobody wants to hear you say it
over and over and over and over and over and
over and over and over and over and over and
over and over and over and over and over and
over and over and over and over and over and
over and over and over and over and over and
over and over and over and over and over and
over and over and over and over and over and
over and over and over and over and over and
Massachusetts

You think it's as simple as that, well
Some things are
But not this little, golden rover
Take it on the chin
POW!

POW!

POW!

POW!

POW!

My pain was euphoric
I couldn't help it
The adrenaline made it near impossible
To think, speak, wish, die
come on [help me]

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou
(Hey, Hey Lou)

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou
(Hey Lou, Lou)

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou
(Hey)

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou
(hey ahhhhhh)

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou
(Hey, Hey)

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou
(hey hey hey)

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou

Hey Lou
Hey Lou
Hey Lou

-that's as close as I could get

A measure of D and E and then two measures of G.

The part right before the last chorus is two measures of D and one of E and G, then back to the other.

End on a G.

It's as simple as that.
So I'm Hooking up with David Dewese David Dewese, double D Hooking up with DD DD, don't make me say please again oh no again oh no

I love it too. Was it ever performed live?

It was played 12/20/2002 last, if my lack of updating is correct. I think it has actually come out once since then, but I do remember hearing it at that show.

This page has all sorts of useful information about the status of songs in the band's live lineup. Not that I've been as diligent about updating it as I'd like, but there it is anyway.

I think Matt Mahaffey has publicly disagreed with you on this point, but I could be wrong.

I'll publicly disagree with him on that point, if that's worth anything.

But I think you're right about Mahaffey.

I'd still like to hear Sam Baker playing in his own song with the Fluid Ounces... alas.
