i know im wasting my time. but, as of right now (and this is using both 12th and Porter shows to do the deciphering) the lyrics to "Love Is Golden" are:

silly games
new relations
ain't it funny how
these things occur
communication
when you hear a sound

i can't explain what i can't comphrend
all i know is nothing's stranger than
nothing's stranger than
love is
love is golden
love is holding you and other things
my feable mind will never seem to understand

here we are
by the entrace
where feelings burn
you've got your heart
i've got my arrow
into the (??)

i can't explain what i can't comprehend
all i know is nothing's stranger than
nothing's stranger than
love is
love is golden
love is holding you and other things
my feable mind will never seem to understand

oh, you never know
you never know
when feelings arise

i've got your (??)
into all these feelings of mine

oh, you can have a heart of stone
a heart of stone
into (???)
and leave you to the diamonds (???)
and thats because (???)
all my breath
all my breath

love is
love is golden (6x)

by the way, this is my favorite features song right now.
i will dig a tunnel from my window to yours.

I am also quite keen on it. I'm hoping it'll be played next Friday.
That's so NA.

nothing's stranger than
love is
love is golden
Composition-wise, this is my favorite part of the song. "Nothing's stranger than love is"..."love is golden." The way that he sings it kind of disguises the lyrical connection that "love is" makes.

This song is my favorite new one. It's so damn good and it puts Chemical Head to shame, even though I like that song as well.

the newer "new one" (failed attempt) is the best by far.

my favorite part is the "you can have a heart of stone" bridge. i love the drums in the whole song. its impossible not to dance.

I, too, am a big fan of that wordplay.

It's like a "Before and After" on Wheel of Fortune.

I don't really care for this one (yet?). "Failed Attempt at a New Song" definitely has a lot of potential to be the next great Features song.

I'm still racking my brain to figure out what changes could be made to fix this song. The best that I've come up with so far is to change it to "Piss Is Golden."
I can't grow a beard, and I don't like to party.

iwe and i were discussing this song after they played it last night, and the question arose: is love really golden? could it better be described as some other precious metal? after much discussion, we decided that "love is pyrite."

i really love this song. and, jc, "before and after" was the first thing i thought of when i read the lyrics, as well.
