Here.

Another retarded list. Apparently it's only the first 10 or so, but damn them for including Meatloaf.

quite frankly, i'm wary of the opinion of a spin-off of a "male" magazine that was staffed by women.

most definitely.

there's plenty of hippy and non-commercial music to sort through to pick out the worst of rock.

"The Freshman" by Verve Pipe
Anything by Creed
Anything by Uncle Kracker

Those would be my top choices.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Oh man. That is definitely at the top of the list. And, I concur with Keith. I absolutely hate Creed.
And, We Built This City is totally on my Guilty Pleasures mix CD. Yeah, I admit it.

i was kinda pissed to see simon and garfunkel "the sounds of silence" on that list. i admit that it can be annoying after seeing the graduate. however, name any hootie and the blowfish song and it'll be ten times worse.

So why is that Uncle Kracker song only at #43?!!

I happen to like..."My Heart Will Go On," "Ob-La-Di...," the Meatloaf song, "The Sounds of Silence," "We Didn't Start the Fire," and "I Wanna Sex You Up." My friend back in the day used to have a t-shirt that said "I Wanna Sex You Up" on it. It was awesome.

Thinking of the worst songs ever is a tough task. Most of mine would probably be contemporary country.

Really, though, I think it's a worse insult to a song to be completely indifferent about it, or not remember it at all. If you hate a song enough to put it on this list, that at least means that you vividly remember it. And that's kind of a complement to the writer/performer.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

As retarded as I'm sure this list is going to be, I can't condemn Blender. They did put The Features video as their Video of the Day today, you know.

I usually really like Blender magazine. I'll buy it every now and then for a good cover story. I like how it reads like a tabloid.
That's so NA.

What about the Baha Men "Who let the dogs out?" SUCKS. Why didn't someone shoot those guys?
I don't agree with the no. 1 either. Or anything by Mariah Carey and Celine Dion makes my ears bleed. Painful.

If I may quote one of the Baha Men from the night of their MTSU performance, "COME ON MTU! Blue Devils!" He later said, "you might have heard this next song on Nickelodeon."

So, my brother dropped by the middle school's 8th grade banquet last weekend to pick up my cousin. He told me that as he walked up to the door, he had a hard time figuring out what song it was he was hearing. Well, as he got closer, he began to realize that it was the Macarena. Oh yeah. They were STILL playing it. I asked him if kids were dancing to it, and he said that about 75 of them were doing it. HILARIOUS.

So, yeah. That song, while popular for it's 15 minutes, sucked hardcore. It definitely did not rule me.

I had to make my 666th post about the Macarena talk about a dance/song thats from the devil. I think I did that dance a few times even though I hated it lol. I won't even pinpoint those times lol. But the scariest thing about the macarena was the two old happy men who were singing it blink.gif Thanks to this topic I will be having nightmares about that video in my sleep tonight.
