Do you ever feel so much anger towards a person that just the sight of them makes you want to punch them in their face?

I want to punch customers in the face all the time. I can feel the blood rush to my head when they hit a nerve that only Food Lion customers can hit, and it's all I can do not to jump across the register, grab their head, and slam it into the little shelf they write their dumbass checks on.

Man, I sound violent. I'm really not (as those of you who have met me can state...hopefully), and I'm working on becoming calmer. I have a good amount of encouragement from one other board member, and that helps out a lot.

But, yeah.

I worked at Kroger before in the video department and as a cashier and Bagger.. so I have plenty of stories I could tell ya. The things peple will say/do to get a free movie!? I swear, I also had a few wierd experiences with customers, the customers who only like coming through your lane when you there customers. Then they feel like they "know" you because you scan their frozen goods every week. Then they start trying to give you hugs around the holidays??? had a few wierd males customers. I hade a customer tell me I looked like a black Ricki Lake one time, that was wierd laugh.gif I had a customer go buy me a rose and try to ask me out on a date when I worked in video. I think he was trying to get the hook up on movies, I can't take compliments for sh!t. I also disliked taking old old ladies groceries to there cars. I mean I like old people but, why do they always have to park so far away and they walk .00000001 miles an hour. Although ocassionally a few old folks would ride the electronic carts out of the store, which would bring me joy, the highlight of the work experience would have to be driving in them until my manager started to look for me ph34r.gif Hey, I was 16 I'd never delight in that now at 20.

I feel that way every time I see Celine Dion on tv. I WISH she would simply go away. BACK from under the rock from which she came!

no, no one punched me, I just can't stand this one person. I am a really nice person, except when it comes to this person. I get really mad at stupid things when it comes to him. Heh...but what am I going to do?

I met Stephanie once and I remember she had boxing gloves and some sort of dummy she would beat up.. I'd watch yourself around her, she might be dangerous.

I have felt like punching people in the face before. I have a bad temper, but I never get violent. I just prefer to talk shit. I remember working at goodwill. I felt like punching someone on a daily basis. If you rip off a cheap goodwill shopper by one penny, they will argue with you until the end of time. Damn them. Oh and let's not forget the old people and their senior citizen discounts. grrr

That is true. I do have a punching bag (one of my 18th birthday gifts), and I absolutely LOVE it. I recommend getting one to each and every one of you, especially those of you who posted about hitting people/things in this topic. The best part about it is that you don't have to hang it from the ceiling. It's a Wavemaster, so you fill the base up with water and go at it! Taebo also makes a yellow version for those of you who want something a little more exciting than black. Anyway, yeah, I love it...one of my best gifts ever.

Well, I punched someone out of anger friday night, the first time I did something like that since middle school. The victim (actually, a friend since middle school) was obnoxiously drunk and yelling out of my passenger window at people on second ave, when verbal pleading didn't work I hit him in the arm. When he woke up the next morning, having no idea where he was and why his arm was bruised I told him the story. He thanked me and cursed red bull and vodka. He leaves tomorrow for boot camp, one more of life's oddities now defending our great country.
An open frame in the 10th, I WAS ROBBED!

I've only hit one person in my life (other than my brother when we used to fight). Her name is Beth, and when I was in fifth grade, Jenny (my roommate now) and I were walking across the playground. Beth had a big mouth (she was always getting on my nerves), but I think that I may have been in a particularly pissy mood that day. And, she was calling me and Jenny names or something, and then she put her finger in my face after I told her to go away. I think I may have called her a bitch, too. Haha...Jenny and I wouldn't say "bitch". Instead, I would make the B sound and Jenny would say "itch"..that way our consciences wouldn't be bothered. We were lame.
Anyway, she said something like, "What are you gonna do about it?" I told her that I was going to make her, and I guess she didn't believe me. So I punched her in the arm. I remember that she just looked at me stunned, and then she ran away crying. We had apologize and all that. But, now Beth and I are actually friends...have been since Middle School.
Man. I did some stupid stuff back in elementary and middle school.

That is absolutely amazing. Two girls of a singular mind creating singular profanity.

Great story, Stephanie.

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.
