if i ever did an april fools prank, it would have to be a good one and i just don't think i'm clever enough.

Wow! This is the place to hear about teachers who want to fuck with their students' minds. I think I may plan on getting into a "pretend fight" with the other person on my "team" and actually walk out of my classroom saying I quit. I honestly don't think my students will care. Another thing is to give them a really long test, take it up and throw it away. But then again, that's just mean. We had better watch out or some fucking parent will sue us for "causing their child emotional harm."

Mine is sort of along the same lines. I'm going to be giving an informal presentation to my lab tomorrow. I'm thinking about starting with an "I quit" slide, but I'm a little afraid I'll get a sigh of relief from my boss.

I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. There are a lot of dumb, gullible girls in my classes who are fun to fuck with, so there are a lot of possibilities.

Oh, I do make them complete assignments and tests that I end up throwing away all the time, that's mainly b/c I'm lazy and don't feel like grading everything.
This wasn't the funniest joke but it fooled some of them. I told my kids that I eloped with my boyfriend, wore my mother's wedding ring, and told them they would have to call me a new name. They flipped out, some of them. The rest didn't care, as I thought, but it worked on a few of them.
A side note, there is a movie from the early 80's called April Fool's Day. If you like campy horror movies, it's great! Biff(Thomas F. Wilson) from Back to the Future is in it and has a freak out. Also, there is a great scene when this guy gets his penis cut off. GREAT!!!! Rent it if you want a laugh.

Whoa. I was just talking about a movie where a guy is peeing through a hole at a construction site or something, and someone cuts is it off and then plays keep away with it. There's even a close up of it getting tossed into the air. Could this be the one? or does anyone know of which movie I'm speaking?

I went to the titans message board today and told them ESPN was saying Eddie George was retiring after getting a movie offer.

at work this morning, I replaced the cofee sugar with salt. And that is the extent of my fun for today...

I did mine already. It was very funny. But you all wouldn't find it funny, so I won't tell you what I did.

This is a short teacher story I think some of you would like (not April Fool's related, but funny anyways.) My mom's a teacher, and one of the 7th grade girls in her school had on a bracelet that said "Anarchy." When asked if she knew what that meant, she said (according to my mother, with attitude) "Yes, it means you're against the government." When asked where she got it, she told them some store, and that it cost $80. "Where did you get the money?" she was asked. "My mom got her income tax check yesterday," was her reply. Kids are stupid.

That movie is called "White Trash". I saw a TV show about it and several other movies that I believe Joe Bob Briggs was hosting. I've never seen it, but I've been searching for years. Where did you see it?

No, I don't think that's it. They do not show actual cutting or anything. They just show the guy on the bed with a bloody hole where his thing was. And the actor who gets "Bobbitted" was Clayton Rohner, he was in this other really cheesy 80's movie called Just One of the Guys. That's the movie where this girl wants to get a job at a local magazine but she thinks her teacher is sexist towards her b/c she's a girl so she cuts off her hair and goes to the rival school posing as a boy to get her article accepted. That's one humdinger of a movie too! Sorry, I went into a whole other movie.

This is the movie where the girl on the front of the box has her hair tied in a noose, right? I've watched that movie more than once; many times I just get the urge to watch some 80's horror. I always go to the video store in my little town and spend about 30 minutes debating which 2 or 3 I want to rent. Wow. I'm a loser.

And, for April Fools Day, Home Depot made me work out in garden while it was raining and about 35 degrees. Oh wait. That wasn't a joke. They were serious.
