K, was just wondering what everyone's thoughts on astrology is.......i once in awhile look at my horoscope.....and check out compatibility charts. Sometimes they seem to be so true. My personality as a capricorn is right on the nose. But it worries me about the compatibility charts. It seems like the people that intrigue you the most tend to be "uncompatible".....Im not sure how much i really believe in it...i used to think it was the most stupid idea in the world.....but i think about it nonetheless.....yeah anyway.....thats about it.

you know, my horoscopes actually often turn out to be true. my "taurus personality" is very accurate. even my compatibility. supposedly im very compatible with capricorns and right now off the top of my head i can think of ten of my friends who are cappys. all my best friends are cappys. im supposed to have "complex feelings" for scorpios and the few ive actually had "complex feelings" for turned out to be scorpios. i guess i know deep down its not real. its just always so accurate i cant help but check it. daily.

I have never paid it much attention, but I always thought I fit the personality of a Leo very well. It seems hard to believe that everyone born around the same time as me does also, though.

daily horoscopes are pretty much lame. but i tell ya, the BIG BOOK OF BIRTHDAYS is the creepiest thing I've ever read. two pages on each day of the years describing someone who was born on that day's personality to a tee. i highly suggest anyone cheacks it out.
ps i am very cancerian - i cry a lot.

they should change the name cancer to emo.
thank you for being a friend.

i don't think i fit the typical leo personality: strong sense of self-confidence, a leader, vain ... not me at all!

I would agree. But my husband does & he's a Leo, and I think carligula is too & he fits it as well. I think Roger has a lot of Aquarian characteristics. I'm a Virgo and I definitely have an anal/ overly stable streak. Hopefully I'm also "cerebral" with a "quiet wit" like this website says I should be. The Other Lauren is an astrological wiz, mostly because she owns Linda Goodman's Love Signs. I highly recommend it.

Looking at that description again, I think I must have a split personality - half quiet & shy and half confident-leader person. I used to be much more Leo, though. Age has made me more, not less, insecure. Strange.

From Lauren's suggested site:

"The female born under the Sign of Taurus may require a very strict diet to achieve slimness, but if you are comfortable with your body image, you may wish to relax and revel in your curves. Everything about you exudes health and vitality. You enjoy the feel of clothing upon your skin, and will go far in selecting the right wardrobe for your sensual pleasure.

Highly introverted, you acquire a status of mystery in your social circles. You are very commonsensical and prefer not to judge others at first glance, but rather to let their behavior describe them for you over time. Morally sound, you are well aware of the difference between right and wrong. You are extremely loyal to those who you consider to be your closest friends and family, and will never desert them when the chips are down."

Pretty much true I have to say. Although, my cigarette smoking doesn't exactly exude health and vitality.

Holy Crap. I did the compatability match up on that site for myself with the man from the relationship that just ended for me and looky at this:

"Aquarius has come to play, while Taurus wants something more from their association. When the Bull finally realizes just whom they've woken up with and what will and will not happen with the germ of the relationship, everything will fall out into a natural disaster. Neither of these two Signs can comprehend the other's value apparatus, belief structures, or even simple pleasures.

You name it, they'll disagree on it -- Aquarius likes to travel, Taurus stays at home, Aquarius is revolutionary, Taurus is conservative, Aquarius is concerned about social issues, Taurus is out for number one, and so it goes. With such a lengthy laundry list of emotional obstacles, is it any wonder that these two may not progress past the introductions?"

To a friggin T. Guess I should check this site from now on before I go on any dates. (Like that is going to happen)

Most horoscopes are vague enough where we can manipulate them to seem to fit. I don't believe Capricorn fits me at all.

I've always felt that, for people who believe in it, astrology is like a little girl pulling the petals from a daisy..

He loves me!! smile.gif .. he loves me not.. sad.gif

if you don't get the desired results.. you just kind of throw that one down and pick up another one that might work for you.
