Speaking of bass players getting arrested, anyone seen this:



Phish bassist Mike Gordon was arrested last week for charges of child endangerment. He was also charged with trespassing.

The incident in question was at a concert by the Dead at Jones Beach's Tommy Hilfiger Theater. Police were alerted of a missing nine year old girl. The girl was later found with Gordon at an enclosed boathouse near the backstage area of the theater.

Gordon is set to appear in court on September 29th.

Gordon and the girl's family released the following joint statement: "We have had several discussions regarding the situation that occurred at Jones Beach. It is now clear to all involved that this was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and we look forward to putting this matter behind us."
