who would have guessed? one day it's tatoos and rock bands, and then, unexpectedly sina gives it all up for bingo and prune juice. clearly a sign of the second coming.

that sounds like fun. hanging with old folks can be more entertaining than you think. i sat in on some activites at my grandma flo's nursing home in milwaukee... they were playing some crossword game & all the people were convinced that one of the answers was "cole slaw"--so sporadically, they would all yell out "COLE SLAW!"

you probably had to be there.

Hmmm, I used to play a lot of Bingo here, which is not in the Nashville area. That is where I learned how to tie cherry stems into knots (and double knots) with my tongue.

Soooo... is "Bingo" some code for something that goes on at a swinger's club?

Sina, does this mean you're looking to swing with old folks?

When I lived in Little Rock, a friend of mine had a friend that ran an illegal bingo parlor... the dude was driving a Ferrari 355. He got shut down and a bunch of his entertainment only slot machines were chopped up, making big news, only for him to open up another a few weeks later.

Also, I went to Catholic school, and true to form, we had bingo every thursday night. Detention was on Friday morning, picking up bingo.

I guess there's money in it...

If it's not for money, then it's probably legal, however I haven't read the statute.

There's plenty of bingo where I come from. You can play any night of the week, pretty much.

is bingo still illegal now that we have the lottery?

oh and bingo night turned into domino night because most of the targets in nashville, and the one in murfreesboro were sold out of bingo games. apparently i'm 10 steps ahead and everyone was having bingo parties over the weekend to celebrate the lottery.

If you were 10 steps ahead, you would have already had the Bingo hookup.
