Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that the band that opened for My Tyger last night at the Slow Bar, Bishop Allen, was pretty good. They kind of had the cute indie rock with girls thing going on, ala Essex Green or Ladybug Transistor. Like those bands they are from Brooklyn. Their album artwork resembled the artwork in Wes Anderson films and when I asked them if they were Wes Anderson fans, they said of course, and that the album was conceptually supposed to be like an alternative Rushmore soundtrack.

I got to talking to one of the guys in the band and asked him if he had heard of the Features and he said yes and that he loved them. He said that they were trying to get a show with them but as we all know, the boys were in London. He said, in so many words, that a lot of people are talking about the Features and that people in New York know them as the best band in Nashville....

Anything relating wes anderson to the features is very cool.
Why would you do that?
