Consider this a desperate attempt to liven up the message board, but a few of you might find this interesting.

I just came back from Cambodia on Thursday and saw some of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life. Siem Reap has a very magical feel to it, and unlike many places, still seems to be somewhat authentic when it comes to culture. I've posted a lot of pictures and a travel log on my internet site. So if you feel like getting your dosage of culture for the week, head over to My Site and check it out!

Cool, but could the Features play there? What did the Cambodians think of the new demos?

I'm convinced The Features could play anywhere and draw a crowd. No one heard the new demos as their internet connections are no faster than 56k. I did wear one of my concert T's however, and I've decided the band needs to cut me a check for all the international exposure in SE Asia they've been getting. In all serious, this region is ripe for the picking. The people around here love American music, yet they rarely get shows. It probably isn't that profitable because most people can't shell out $35 to see a concert; and music piracy is so big here that they wouldn't sell many cds either. That being said, you'd think bands would want to stop by Bangkok just to say they've played there.

I made it through the first two days of your Cambidian adventure. Pretty cool stuff. I really don't think I could handle something like that. It seems like you have to put a lot of trust in people not to rip you off or just generally screw with you. Glad you had a good time, though.

Yeah, I was looking at it again today and realized it's more lengthy than I thought, ohh well.

And you could do it, anyone could. It does take a certain amount of trust, but I also had detailed instructions on how to travel overland, so I kinda knew what scams to watch out for and how much things should cost. Moreover, the people there are genuinely nice and are just happy their country is finally peacefull.

No, but I did see where she filmed part of Tomb Raider.

Now when ever we see JW we're gonna have to hear about the time he was "in the shit"...

Speaking of which... have I ever told you about the time I had tacos with... ahhh Nevermind.

My friend in NYC just called, to tell me Meeks had called him to confirm that, indeed he was my friend.
