One of the things that I love about this board is how the conversation can change directions on a dime.  Here are some of my favorites so far:

Features' Equipment -> CiCi's

Features All Ages Show -> Emo Bashing -> Rory -> Emo Bashing -> Math Rock -> RIM Program

Features All Ages Show -> Cults -> Christianity Bashing

Favorite Live Features Songs -> the Who -> Classic Rock vs. Mod -> Pro Wrestling

Opening Band Needed -> Silly Band Names -> Lawnwrangler's Employment History

Please Eno Stay -> 80s Hair Metal Bands

Record Player Tech Support -> Digital Planet -> Nintendo Tech Support -> Car Stereo Tech Support -> Back to the Future

New Website Content, Please -> Oregon Trail

And the king of them all:

Tennessee Bands -> the Strokes -> the Features vs. the Strokes -> Rory -> Gang of Four -> the Strokes -> Private School Bashing -> Lawnwrangler's High School Sex Life

my life is an open book

The year was 1998. The place was Chicago (11 hour drive for KW). It was general admission. I was there two hours early to get next to the stage. I was right in front of Florian. They were three feet away during 'pocket calculator'. One of the calculators was messed up so I laughed at Florian. The guy next to him smiled at me. It was the same concert they've been giving for 25 years. It was the best concert I've ever been to. Robots, videos, germans.

i would like to call a board meeting. my roomate (whose screen name shall remain questioned) and i shall provide beer at our house after the next features show. unlike idaho, we know lots of girls. i for one think it's high time the members of this board got plastered in my living room and started to come clean. phish and stereolab will even be welcomed. germans a plus. features' equipment/manager status/all age show possibilities will be discussed. the lawn wrangler's personal life may be outlined. oregon trail tournaments can occur in the kitchen. emo bashing and general music labeling is encouraged. jewish boys a must. elliot, who i am actively jealous of as he has surpassed my total number of posts all in one day, will need to come reveal himself. altars will be set up for eno worshipping. catered by cici's pizza. bring all unattached bass players you know. details to come. plan on attendance, oh you faithful fans.

Is someone posting under your name, freezetag?  You're having a party at your house and welcoming Phish and Stereolab?  If this is a joke, I knew it was.  And if it's not, hell yeah!

jamie this is too legit, in fact, to quit.
it is the true story, of 93 message board members,
picked to drink beer in a house,
and have their comments judged,
to find out what happens,
when people stop being polite
and start getting real.
anyone who has ever worked for/stripped for lawnwrangler is welcome, southern draaaaawls outright demanded, music making robots wanted, facial hair questioned, unfrozen caveman lawyers made to feel at home, players/ballers b.y.o. bling bling, rock collectors and hunters and gatherers a plus. statues are being erected to the founding members of character, velvet underground will be played including loaded (sorry ben), elliot's pants will be found, and unlike on this board...anyone can become a full member. organ players, unite.

Ms. Carroll, did you try to quit smoking again? You're just gonna have to realize that school, music, and the drink here and there require at least the occaisional Camel. You'll know when it's finally time, until then....enjoy!
