Can someone please explain Coca-Cola Zero to me? How exactly is it different from Diet Coke?

I don't taste a vast difference, but I tried one and thought it was good. Apparently the difference lies mostly in the type of sweetener. I found this brief explanation at Wikipedia:

"Coca-Cola Zero
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Coca-Cola Zero is a product of the Coca-Cola company, released in June 2005. It is similar to Diet Coke, but is sweetened with a blend of aspartame and acesulfame potassium, as opposed to Diet Coke which is sweetened only with Aspartame. Coca-Cola Zero's name might have been a direct result to Pepsi naming their alternative diet cola Pepsi ONE.

This is not to be confused with "Diet Coke sweetened with Splenda," another alternate formulation of Diet Coke.

Coke Zero uses the original formula of Coca Cola Classic, which makes it taste more like original Coca Cola, unlike Diet Coke, which has its own formula."

FINALLY!!!! A beverage designed with us acesulfame potassium lovers in mind!

I'm hoping they end up canning Malibu and Coke. "Coke 24%"

I am a big fan of Sprite Zero as well. Diet Sprite was really nasty, but Sprite Zero is pretty much awesome.

I completely agree. But it's still not quite as good as Diet 7-Up.
