A new friend of mine burned me a copy of her Mitch Hedberg cd and that shit's funny! I think that he was at Zanies not too long ago.

Yeah, Hedberg is great. I saw him at Zanie's last year. He was taking requests.

Yes, I tend to despise standup comedians, but I enjoy Mitch Hedberg a lot.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

Speaking of Zanies, I wanted to catch Kevin Nealon when he was in town, but alas I did not.

Anyway, I like to hear comedians in general. There are some I don't like, and I hate when they get TV sit-coms, but overall, I like them. I've never heard this guy, though.

Any form of entertainment that involves Zach Galifianakis is fine by me. I would actually enjoy doing stand-up comedy...if I could ever figure out how to write that way...

dave chappelle has a great standup. i never really cared for his show, though.

i also watched pablo fransisco's standup recently. it was pretty good, but a little immature.

In our middle school days, Ray Davies and I were quite addicted to Bob & Tom CDs. I used to bring my portable cd player to school and about 14 of us would huddle around a desk and listen to such hits as "Shirtless Girl" and episodes of Harry Carey. I bet I had 6 or so of their cds, including the seasonal favorite Chrsitmas albums.

I loved Dave Chappelle's show - it was possibly the funniest sketch comedy that I've ever seen.

Pablo Francisco is great, too.

I just don't like Jack Black. I feel bad, because everyone else seems to find him funny, but I just find him to be annoying. Against critical opinion though, I really like Will Ferrell.

Carl kind of looks like a much sexier Jack Black.

1) No I don't

2) Maybe you wouldn't hate Jack Black if he didn't remind you of me.

1. Face it Carl. You're a sex machine programmed only for women's pleasure.

2. Shut up

I definitely see the Jack Black/Carl thing.

I would have liked Jack Black if he never would have acted after High Fidelity. But he did...and he shouldn't have.

I still love Tenacious D, but Jack Black's work in movies has seriously started to suck in the last couple of years.

It seems like he really wants to be John Belushi, at times, and it doesn't come off very well.

I still find Jack Black enjoyable, moreso in his interviews and special TV gigs. I did enjoy "Orange CountY" and I think that the "School of Rock" or whatever looks okay.

Will Ferrell rules and I think "Elf" will as well. I'm looking forward to it.

More Mitch Hedberg:

"The best thing about escalators is that they never break down. They just turn into stairs. You just put up a sign "Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the Convienience."

"Why do they have to give you a receipt when you buy a donut? How about I give you the 50 cents, you give me the donut. Let's not bring ink and paper into this transaction. I can't think of a time when I would have to prove I bought a donut."

"Wearing a turtleneck is like having a really weak guy trying to strangle you all day long."
"Is this what you want you want to do with your life, man? Suck down peppermint schnapps and try to call Morocco at 2 in the morning?"

After watching Jim Gaffigan last night on Conan, I can add him to my list. He's pretty humorous and I'm glad I'll be able to see him at MTSU.

at first i was unsure about mitch hedberg...but then i watched his "comedy central presents" and i'm as good as sold.
of course it's not a comic list without zach...."as a child, i was dyslexic. i wrote all about it in my dairy." ah, i guess it's no good sans piano.
and i'm also a fan of mr. jack black, though i will admit there have been a few times where i thought he wasn't funny. nothing beats him in "high fidelity" though.

i also enjoy the koala infestation...but the flier is classic.
i don't recommend dating a comedian, unless you like to hear the same jokes over and over again.
