Ween's coming to the Tennessee Theater April 30th!!! Does anyone know where exactly that is?

Also, Melvins and Tomahawk (feat. Mike Patton of faith no more, mr. bungle, fantomas, peeping tom...) at the Exit/In May 29th!!! Sweet!

This almost makes up for River Stages sucking ass this year. Almost.

Yeah, well, they're pretty forgetable. Plus, that topic is like, so 2 weeks ago. Like Frank Black.

I also didn't mention Postal Service on April 11th and Pearl Jam/Sparta April 18th here, but it's been mentioned elsewhere.

These weekday shows bug me. It seems that any time a decent out of town band hits Nashville, it's a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday show. Bitches. Sorry for the rant.
"Sugar, Mr. Poon?"
"No, never, never... thank you."

I saw Ween on the country favorites CD tour...it was a pretty hilarious show. Gene Ween gets the drunkest singer on stage award, which was previously held by Robert Pollard.

The Pearl Jam/Sparta bill was reverted back to Pearl Jam/Sleater Kinney. Should be an awesome show.

It was originally Sparta, then Sleater-Kinney, and then back to Sparta on Feb. 6th. Do you know something I don't, or do I know something YOU don't? I really wish it was S/K. It was a VERY cruel joke switching it to them for a few days when I had been wishing for it so much.

Whatever, Sparta still rules.

Okay, I just checked the Synergy sate and it's listed as S/K (although there was no formal announcement-- despite there being announcements for venue changes and show additions). Tenclub.net hasn't announced a switch (and neither has the sleaterkinney.org or pollstar). Man, I hope you're right!

It's true. Pollstar and the Exit/In have both confirmed the show.
