Is James Spader the best friend? I forgot about the best friend. He is unbelivably hot. More so then Andew McCarthy, I think, but they are so different its hard to say. Gosh, what a hot cast!

Yes, he's the best friend. To be blonde, he's quite the looker, and very suave. He still is too. You need to see Secretary, if you haven't already. It's one of the best movies I've seen in the past year, and it stars not only James Spader, but also the adorable Maggie Gyllenhaal.

But, anyway, I'm probably more partial to Andrew since I love him so much in all of his movies, especially St. Elmo's Fire, probably my favorite brat pack film.

I've never been a Pretty in Pink fan, so I decided to put my vote with the one-bitch crusade.

I was never sure. Duckie was pretty androgynous. I can't recall 'it' ever being referred to as a he or she. Overall, Duckie is the "It's Pat!" of the dinosaur kingdom.

Surely they say it in the movies. Wasn't she taken by a terridaktyl (Am I supposed to know how to spell that?) at one point? That means a phrase along the lines of "We have got to try save him/her!" had to have been said, right? So even if I'm wrong and its not a girl, Duckie's sex is mentioned at some point.

Yes, I realize that post made no sense. And Yes, I realize I actually took time to explain why it shouldnt be hard to find the sex of a Land Before Time character.

True...to be honest, I always always always thought that Duckie was a guy. I don't know why, but there must have been something in the movie to have lead me to believe this. I own it on both DVD and VHS (aaaand cue laughter), but I'm too tired from mopping back rooms to figure this out right now.

See, I thought that the sexes were different since one was about Ducky itself and the other about the species, but I went to Cera's (the DEFINITELY female triceratops) and both of her paragraphs contained female pronouns. And yes, they are exactly how I posted them. Very odd...very odd indeed.
