The long awaited bof/features tour is about to kick off, and one of the first shows (friday the 18th) is in chattanooga. I was just wondering if anyone from the board would be making it out that far (i'm assuming a lot of you are near or in m'boro). I'll be there with my I *heart* andrew bird t-shirt along with my minidisc recorder. I'm always afraid to ask the sound guy if I can hook my MD recorder up to the board, but maybe I'll get the nerve this time.

Later on they're actually coming through Knoxville to fairbanks near UT campus, and fairbanks is a nice place...definitely worth a 3 hour drive. It would be cool to meet some of you.

Anyone know where I can find some cool avatars? I sort of feel like a poser with this thing.

As for the show on the 18th...I have to close the store..of course. If only Food Lion would understand my love for The Features.
If I hadn't called in a favor for this weekend's schedule to be altered, I would attempt it for Friday, but I can't. I have to go in at 8 the next day anyway. Working sucks.

I think most of the time, they're pretty cool with it. Just remember to have all your own chords so that you trouble the guy as little as possible.

I've never tried to get SB Features recordings because in small clubs, everything doesn't have its own mic. The SB recordings I have usually are very low on guitar and high on vocals because guitar amps do not usually get a microphone in clubs.

There's still a possibility that I may be at the Johnson City show, but I'm not really sure if my friends at UT will want to go, and I'm sure as hell not going alone. I may just have to wait another month to see them.

I'm extremely confused with genders here...maybe there should be a male/female listing on the member profiles. Unless, of course, you all ENJOY the ambiguity...
