Paying a personal trainer 6 figures helps too I hear. I was paying my personal trainer with room and board and he helped me lose 60 lbs in 6 months, then he got a better deal. Now I'm getting a tad bit portly again.

On her new record cover, she looks just like Britney Spears. That's probably not an accident.

By the way, welcome back Keith.

yeah, the music business fucking sucks. they don't want womyn for their talent, but for their bodies. too bad i'll never make it unless the marilyn monroe style magically gets popular again.

She is a very good-looking woman, and has the pipes to go along with her looks. But Santana? I'm not sure about how he helped the show out except for adding another famous name to the show. In fact, I can't think of any songs that he was a needed addition to except for "Smooth". It seems like it's the same style of playing and same sound he uses for every song LATELY. I admittedly haven't heard much of his older stuff.

addition???? more like the suck ass artists that have played with santana were his additions. i agree, i don't like his new stuff, but i am a huge fan of old santana...my brothers and i were conceived to it so i was a fan in utero! you should check it out...of course, i love music with a beat (especially samba) and not everyone is into latin music.

Are you referring to Faith Hill? If so, are you serious? It's been pretty well-documented that Faith Hill has very little vocal talent whatsoever. Her records are a classic case of ProTools magic, and if you ever see her performing live on an awards show, etc, she's either lip-synching or her vocal is drowned out by an army of background vocals. I thought these things were common knowledge...

sorry. i know the spelling thing bothers a lot of people, and i don't really do it for the politics anymore, its just a habitual way of spelling for me.

and for the record (a lot of people don't know this) feminism isn't about man hating. its about equality. my spelling antics are not to be taken offensively. biggrin.gif

Geez. You guys are right. Thanks for setting me straight. Besides, I prefer the unadulterated talent and pure singing voices such as those heard on the new Shania album.

no see..hold up right quick...i saw her perform just the other night on an awards show...
and she was ACTUALLY SINGING...(cause her voice kinda shook and almost cracaked at one high note...so you could tell)...but that woman has an AWESOME voice and you could not convince me that she just sounds good because of some well produced songs and overdubs and shit.

think what you want...MY GIRL is a DIVA!

she's no songwriter...but heyyyyyyyy...she'll last...i have faith

Hey, at least Faith Hill is still willing to "perform." I hear that Shania Twain has no interest in ever performing live again. I just can't get my brain around that line of reasoning. Oh wait, yes I can...she can't sing!
