Ok, since I'm on this agri-kick, here is a list of common weeds and broadleafs that are the bain of a farmer's existence. I picked jimson weed as my favorite, because when I was a kid, some neighbor kids ate the seeds (they look like unpopped popcorn) and were higher than kites for about 8 hours... their parents took them to the ER to have their stomach pumped.

It's also theorized that Rev. Dimsdale's hallucinations were caused by jimson weed or belladonna poisoning in "The Scarlet Letter"

I don't want to hear about the dangers of herbicides on this either, you damn hippies. If everything was organically grown, weed (get it?) be up to our assholes in noxious weeds.

Man, I don't know nearly enough about weeds to pick a favorite. I liked dandilions, because when they were puffy you could blow them and make the seeds fly, and when they bloomed you could make nifty chains.

I ended up voting for black nightshade, it sounds devious.

peace frog: exliontamer was raving about your signature, but he had no idea what it meant. so maybe this will help solve the mystery. he even did an internet search for "claw jimsonweed."

ragweed is EVIL. PURE EVIL.

Claw Jimsonweed is a wordplay on THE famous (in his own head) Talon Nightshade. Talon being a type of claw, nightshade being a type of noxious weed ala jimsonweed. Tell ELT he can rest his little head. I also have something to show him that may or may not interest him as well. Depends on his mood I guess.

Damn it, that weed isn't on the list. I picked jimsonweed, because apparantly it can fuck you up.

I hate ragweed.

It is a mint. Cats love it, but it affects humans too. For some strange reason, I've smoked catnip before. It makes you light headed and amorous.

Not to be confused with catsup, made by Heinz and others, which unfortunately does not mess you up.

If it is related to the kind of work that Talon Nightshade does, I'm sure ELT'll dig it Jimsonweed, even if you aren't THE Talon Nightshade.

But I did have to vote for the Black Nightshade.
