Yeah, I'm sure that would be great....if one had the money to do such things.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

the way i see it is, if i was to see each of these bands individually, it would probably cost way over $150, and that includes the camping.

im pumped.

Wow. Now that's the kind of roster that I would consider camping out in a field to see (as opposed to Bonnaroo). That lineup is really really good. I wish I could go. It's just so far away.

Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

hmm... that's certainly an opportunity to ponder.

now that i think about this event, i so want to go. I could use my federal tax return and fly up there and back, plus tickets and food and still have half my return. the problem is, i need to save all of my return. Had I not known about this event, my life would be content, but as it stands, i live in turmoil.

Don't forget Spiritualized, The Roots, Tortoise, and Underworld....They'll be there too. I like Thom's "Nein, No, Non" shirt in the advertisement I got. I heard the event is only $65 from someone who was considering going. To me, New York's about as plausible as Glastonbury.
Why would you do that?

That's the single day price. It's $150 w/camping initially. The price increases the longer you wait. I would expect this show to sell out quick.

stalker, are you going to both days or just the first? My friend just got a ticket for me, and I was under the impression that the first and second day require separate tickets. I don't know...I'm really confused. All i know is that I'm getting to see Radiohead, and whoever else is playing on that day. I hope The Roots and Spiritualized are playing on that day too.. unsure.gif
Why would you do that?

This should answer all your questions. Tickets are sold separately or together with or without a camping fee. Radiohead and Beck headline the first day and Sigur Ros and Beastie Boys the second.

Once again, all of you who are going suck.

You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.
