So today I found an original copy of the Necronomicon at a thirft store in the book section. I can't believe this was just sitting there (and boy, did it ever stick out)....
here's one just like it (same edition, it's identical) that just sold on eBay.

so, should i memorize the spells or just sell it on eBay? or both?

Dude, way to dangle the auction in my face after it's over. You know I've wanted one of those for over a decade now. How about you just give me yours, bitch.

The best thing I've ever found at a thrift store was a Jem vhs for $1.50...

When I saw that VHS sitting there, I shrieked! I was totally obsessed with Jem and even had the giant scary doll of the one who played the keyboard/guitar thingy.
Watching it now though, i think I like the misfits better. Jem is such a putz. dry.gif

I found a cheap copy of an episode or so of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. Man did that show rock. From the hilarious opening sequence to the live action Mario played by Captain Lou Albano to the crappy animated cartoon, that show was golden. I lent it out to too many people though, and it came back completey trashed.

I remember one sequence where they flew along to "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf.

You must choose. It is like that movie "Sofie's Choice" only it is Nathan's choice. Do you know that movie, "Sofie's Choice"? It is like that. Only it is this.

I have a Legend of Zelda videotape that features two episodes of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show on it that my mom got for me back in the late 80s. The two episodes feature Ernie Hudson in full Ghostbuster gear and...um...Frankenstein.
