So, tomorrow (today technically) I begin my college graduation ceremonies, welcome real world. I am OK right now because of the severe intoxication, but somebody soon remind me why it is better to be a 22 year old professional than any other 20-something. I am feeling sick at the fact that I don't have a 'real' job, but I don't understand why. Someone please, give me a clue.

p.s. I will no longer be deevol after this weekend, but instead, wasvol.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, deevol.  And your life will still be beautiful (and lots of fun) if you choose to make it so.  Just don't let the bastards grind you down...

no worries! my brother just turned 30 and he still doesn't have a 'real' job. but he makes it and has a great time as well. he refuses to do the 9-5, and has had quite a decade since he graduated. without a 'real' job, he has been able to play music wherever he wants whether it be in brazil or with the circus or in nyc. so let my brother inspire you that you will make ends meet and then some. find what makes you happy and the rest will follow in suite.

oops, sorry about this sappy crap, I hardly remember posting it last night. I had just spent the evening drinking with a lot of college friends and reliving the last five years. I'm actually very excited about the whole thing, at least now that I've sobered up. thank you both for the support.

I'm worried about folks on this board getting drunk and posting it seems that it's becoming a common occurrence - maybe we need to have a features message board AA meeting to stop this drunk posting

or just start a new thread and call it 'drunk posting' and whenever you're drunk, you go there, and you post.
...

oh yeah, and congratulations deevol!
thank you for being a friend.

First of all, the word is necrophiliac. Didn't you get a degree in English? You'd think they would have taught you to use a dictionary.

Secondly, I'm not the one who spends 80% of my waking hours hanging out with dead bodies.
