elliot smith played 328 on a terribly stormy night and the power went out...he came on stage with candles and the whole packed-in place leaned in and hushed while he played the first few songs unplugged and unmiked until the power came back on. it was amazing.

sorry i can't spell by the way, but i'm sure you'll see me at the next old crow show, seeing as how you saw me at the last. oh, and just for the record, 'william' is a fictional character.

Yes, yes, that much lauded Elliot Smith show that was so intimate.  But why does it say '10 May 02'? Don't you mean '10 May 00'?

You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

i did mean 2000, i suppose i'm just used to writing 02. insert apologetic groveling here. can you ever, in your infinite goodness oh message board members, forgive me for this most grievious error? the show was indeed one of my all time most memorable.

okay, okay, after checking my e-mail which was full of messages from many of you, i will apologize again, and rather than respond to all the e-mails, just respond here. who knew a typo would make me so popular? to clear the air: i have no advanced knowledge of any forthcoming elliot smith shows. i didn't mean to unnecessarily excite you, well, atleast most of you.

by the way, is 328 really dead? when did this happen?
oh, and i hear all four of the beatles will be back together doing a show at guido's in april.

328 isn't quite dead. they had to move because the city's adding an extra lane in that area. they were looking at a place over by 12th & porter. i haven't heard anything more.
