well take me fucking home boy, gsybe! is pure genius. the band is sick, with more rotaing members than lambchop, and more hurt than three depresion clinics. i would recommend slow riot to new zero canada first, then f#a#infinity over lift your skinny fists. i saw them in columbus last october, and the for first ten minutes of the show, they projected the word 'hope' on a screen behind them. i would not recommend getting any of their albums unless you are a stable individual.

oh people cry, and people raise their arms up in the air like they're at church (or mosque, or synagogue...i'm religion-friendly), and people lay down on the floor. it was more than i cared to handle. and yes, i've had friends ask me if i was listening to 'the holocaust soundtrack.' like i said, not to be listened to by anyone unstable.

p.s. jamie, your gbv is ready when you are.

do you folks like the rachel's as well? i could see how one who liked godspeed could like them...same concept (sort of) without all the spoken word stuff.  'music for egon schiele' is an awesome album.  i used to listen to all that instrumental stuff while studying, but since i'm not in school anymore i rarely bust that stuff out of my collection.  it doesn't make for good driving music (esp. late at night).

i think the rachels are amazing...egon schiele is a gorgeous album, and the album they put out with mathmos was incredible.
wow, we're starting to talk about all the stuff i loved before i discovered pop.
