I gotta go with the Spandau....being the founding member of the Gary Kemp Fan Club and all. "Paint Me Down" is awesome. It has the coolest bass line of any of the selections....I do really love "Blue Skies" though....and "Mother", which The Features should really cover.

I'd go with Mott the Hoople just because they're mentioned in an R.E.M. song.

"Paradise City" has a whistle in it.

Some very questionable choices. If I had to choose out of these, I'd go with Mott the Hoople.

"Entertain Me" is on the best album of all time, so of course it's pretty good, too. It was not, however, a single.

Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

Damn. I wasn't sure about that one. I knew they did that stupid stadium remix and figured it was a UK single. Oh well.

Some very questionable choices.
Nevertheless, one of them is going to become the official Features Message Board's Greatest Single Ever.

only because it reminds me of female friend in college that would do a wicked Danzig impression much to our drunken delight.
