If you want to keep people up-to-date on your trips (and other escapades) you might want to look into making a LiveJournal. I don't have one myself, but they are free now (no more codes) so you can just go and set one up at livejournal.com. Usually LJs are filled with boring, melodramatic teenage angst, but some journals are really great, specifically when documenting someone's trips abroad and whatnot. Just a suggestion.

EDIT: An LJ may be a little more difficult to update, however. I've never used one myself so I'm not sure about that, but if it perks your interest, you might as well check it out.
