TOPIC: HELP ME!

Post 1 of 7
I quit my job around Independance day. So's I could have a little more freedom, trouble is, with the crossing over into the 2nd half of the month, I'm still unemployed. It's Bad News Bears. I'm sick to death of the foodservice industry, but I cant seem to land another job that pays well, and quickly. I've been desperate the past few days, going into places the likes of which I made fun of at my past job, but everyone want's a damn resume. I don't know how to properly make one. . . If any of you have job ideas or resume pointers please, lay 'em on me. I would really appreciate the help.

yeah, i can help you--move back to nashville you crazy fuck! what you do on a resume is list all the jobs you've had and tell about your special skills, which for you will involve a lot of lying.

yes, i see you've already got that down. well done. well, there's little else to it besides wild exaggerations based on half-truths and basic bare-faced lies. the sky is the limit for you now, son. did i say sky? i meant "sewer"...the world is your oyster. did i say oyster? damn, i meant "colt .45"...etc..etc.....
tell me facts tell me facts tell me facts

I'm with ya man. I guess I'm lucky though that I'm mooching off of my mom for the time being. Times are hard, jobs are sparse. And it feels hopeless sometimes, but keep applying I guess.

Also, you have a music business degree. Very unpractical, but, there are alot of us with Recording / Music Biz unpractical degrees that could put our skills together if we had the resources. So stay optimistic, and persistant.
