Under people's avatars, most of you have put in something cool and witty to replace member. But for the life of me I cannot find where to change that. How do you do it?

OK...

Go to "Your Control Panel" at the top of the page next to your name.
Then go to "Edit Profile Info" on the left.
"Custom Member Title" should be the first thing you can change.
Relevant: Prince, PT Anderson, Punk, Post-Punk, Purple, Party of Five, Peter Swanson, Peter Gabriel-led Genesis, "Peter Panic", Paul's Boutique, Potential Energy, Every Features MB member but me.

Don't worry, I was in your position a week ago with people telling me to look in the member profile, not finding it, and then thinking that I'm some sort of gimp. But I discovered that at 160 (or thereabouts) posts it magically appears. Be patient young padawan...all will be revealed in time.

It has more to do with the fact that I've been stuck at home without a car all day and just keep checking to see whats new.
