I'm so glad I found this site. (I came here before it was an actual site and haven't been back since.) I used to see The Features all the time when I was going to college in Nashville. Coolest band in the city, no doubt. I used to do the college radio thing, and whenever I would play The Features I would get a call saying thank you or someone would ask who they were.

I'm presently living in Maryland, working for the man, and trying to be a grown up. Not much fun. As soon as I stop being lazy I'm going to sign up for paypal and buy the new 7". How is it?

My first Features' show: They were part of a double bill where the band played first then the movie Friday the Thirteenth was shown. Way back in 1998... I think I still have the ticket at my parent's house.

The Features have only gotten better since 1998 and I would definitely say that with each passing concert, we are seeing the band at their best (sort of the opposite of "Office Space") since the new songs keep adding on to the genius of the previous catalogue. Get the new 7" and, if you can download MP3's, here is a website cock-full of Feature-y goodness...

Would this show have been at Sarratt Cinema at Vandy, by any chance?
