TOPIC: I found a puppy.

I came home today and found a puppy sitting on my doorstep. It's absolutely adorable...a girl, pure-bred beagle, very friendly. she has a harley-davidson collar with a tag that says only her name on it (no phone number or address). we asked several of the homes nearest to ours if they knew where she came from, but no one knew. she's tiny, so we didn't want to leave her outside where she could get ran over....so right now she's asleep, curled-up in a blanket in my living room. we're hoping that if it was someone in the neighborhood who lost her, that they will be coming door to door soon. otherwise, we don't kow what to do with her. any advice?

and oh yeah, i have two cats. they don't like the puppy very much...

ok, nevermind i guess. my dad came home and forced us to leave the puppy outside. since, it's father's day, i kept the protesting to a minimum. i took the blanket she was sleeping on and put it on the front porch for her to lay on, and she is. my mom and i have also been sneaking her scraps of food. hopefully her owner will be driving around the neighborhood and see her.

this topic became irrelevant very very quickly.

You better be nice to it. A Harley Davidson collar in Smyrna can only mean one thing: rednecks. And you don't want cranky rednecks mad at you...

Don't feed it unless you want to keep it.

Leave it outside and hope that its owner comes to find it. Take it to the humane society after a few days.

You should've told your dad the puppy was your gift to him for father's day!! I hope someone isn't crying b/c they lost thier puppy. Make a sign or two and post it in your neighborhood in hopes that they will call you or something. Just don't put the dog's name on the poster and then they will have to tell you what it is to get it back. I love the way I tell you this as if it is the best idea I've had all week! ha ha..good luck!
dance your cares away...worries for another day.

You should sneak that puppy back inside and give it some loving. I guess I am just overflowing with pet love as I am so enjoying having my first kitty. She is asleep on my nap right now, in fact. Ah, bliss...

I want a puppy so badly. Or even just a really small dog. I've got two huge dogs and I just want a small pet that cant knock me over when I walk in the door.
You're so fucking money you don't even know it
