i knew the features back in cookeville in the mid to late 90s and loved them. i don't know what made me think of them tonight, but i did, so i googled, and lo and behold! you're still around!

i have an old cassette tape recorded off the radio from their live show at jonathan's that played on thunder 94 circa 1997. i have played the shit out of that tape.

anyone know where i could get a copy of their early cd from back then?

The self-titled EP can be found on eBay from time to time, but I haven't seen it lately. YOu might check local used CD stores.

More importantly, pick out their full-length debut album on Universal Records titled Exhibit A.

I still have the EP, 2 spongebath samplers and other little things hanging around. You can still get the songs off of the audio/video section on the website. D-con (Radio One) is still my favorite.

So, topic starter answer.
I knew The Features when....

The boys were trying to come up with a name. Yellow dye no. 5 didn't stick and they wanted something else. Don was even pushing for "Moon Bison" for a bit. Parish was just a good friend of everybody and wasn't even the "2 finger wonder" yet. He rocks.

This would have been 1994 or so when I first became friends with the guys and still love them to this day.

I knew them when.....
Roger was my boyfriend all of 1 day, then I broke up with him. But still liked him for awhile. Sorry, i was in the 8th grade. He worked at Piggly Wiggly then and in the 9th grade.
I worked with Parrish at McDonald's. He was just hanging with Don and Roger at the time. We went riding around some. Confession he doesn't even know, I almost broke up with my boyfriend at the time to go out with him. He also attended my wedding. I haven't seen him in Spartaville, but when I see Roger I still ask him how Parrish is doing.
How's that for back in the days??

Oh come on. I place a wager that I am the only male on the board that has kissed Parrish on the mouth. (It was fuzzy and no tongue was incolved, if you must know). Now top that!!!

Ok, I know it's not a competition, but I just had to say I got to kiss Parrish. We're all in the same boat, we just want to see the guys make it big.

Sorry O'friend, don't be jealous. We were a lot tipsy and for some reason it seemed like a good idea.
