In my kitchen, we have about 40 million ants late at night. There's about 10 million durring the day. Is there anything I can do that's not a lot of truble and doesn't cost any money? Like the things mom's know that make things all better? Because I'm lazy and cheap. Thanks if you help, unlike in my last post the I wanted help. People told me to pour watter on my computer.
So I'm Hooking up with David Dewese David Dewese, double D Hooking up with DD DD, don't make me say please again oh no again oh no

i'm curious to see if this works, so if you have the patience try it and tell me the results:(1st fold a piece of cardboard that the ants can walk on to)
put a bit of sugar 6-8 inches from their entry point in the room that they don't know about.
whenever an ant is returning with food or walking towards food let him walk onto the cardboard and ferry him to the bit of sugar.
keep on doing that and, supposedly, the trail from that bit of sugar to their hole will make them lose track of their old trail to your cupboard.

I would suggest that you pour water on them.

OK, seriously... When I was a kid, my mom had this same problem in our kitchen. She would put arsenic on little pieces of carboard. The ants would find it, think it tasted nice, and carry it back to their colony. But, since it was highly poisonous, all the ants that ate it would die. I don't know how much a bottle of arsenic costs, but I wouldn't think it would be too expensive.

And, because I'm so nice, I even looked up the Terro on the web. They make the stuff that you need.
grass stains, airplanes, anything and everything

you can also get borax (in the detergent section) and powdered sugar and put it in little jar lids. stick it in places where you wont knock it over...behind the trash, in your cupboard, etc. they will be attracted to the sugar and eat the borax which will kill them.

go with my(actually richard feynman's)buddhist method.
you don't want powdered chemicals around your food. unless it's pixy stix.

Two cans of Raid Ant-Away. Works like a charm.

Oh yeah, don't spray around food.
