I slept straight through all the craziness last night. I am not usually a sound sleeper but the SARS got the best of me. There was alot of trees down at MTSU and surrounding areas. It was apparently pretty scary stuff.

yeah, it was pretty bad here. i spent a good portion of last night underneath my house in the muddy crawlspace, studying for my history exam by candlelight. it was miserable. but hey, i was fortunate. no dents in my car. no flooded driveway. no tree on my house (unlike last time). i'm very sorry for you, token, though. i can't imagine how frustrating your car/pool situation must have been. i hope that everything got taken care of!

Yeah, I was up at two or three or so studying, then was instructed to make my way to the stairwell of the dorm. Started to go to my female side of the dorm, saw the giant (that Charlotte has once mentioned) making her way down the stairs WITH HER MATTRESS...then, decided I could not take sitting with a bunch of girls in a stairwell. So, I then made my way to the boys' stairwell. That was fun. wink.gif Boy, do I love those tornadoes.

Then, at 4:00 or so this afternoon, I had to leave one building after an exam and run to my dorm which is only about one minute away....yet, I was completely soaked and out of breath (from running against extreme winds) by the time I reached shelter. Then, I sat in the boys stair well, again. Then about an hour later, I sat in the girls stairwell (by this time only the people who are really afraid of tornadoes decided to seek shelter, thus I only had to suffer through three other girls). Needless to say, I've had my fair share of stairwells today.

In the end, though, I'm very thankful that we are all safe here in the Murfreesboro area. My mother was flying in tonight from New Orleans, so I've been worried all day. And, I was worried about the boys making it to Mississippi okay. I will be happy to see this bad weather go away.

But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

Man, tornado sirens were going off yesterday right after school. I didnt even know we had sirens! I was sooo scared. And that is so awful about all the killings. I have seen some of the damage and it is AWFUL. What's the death toll now like 32 or something?
You're so fucking money you don't even know it

Thanks. I'm still waiting to find out about it all. Right now I have a rental - a Silver Malibu, which I don't really like at all.

Maybe all of this will result in my car being totaled and me getting a Jetta! That would be very sweet indeed.

Right now, I am afraid to open my flooded car's door for fear of being knocked over with wet dog stench. There was seriously a lot of water in that thing. Yuck!

Minus the death and destruction, I've been enjoying the inclement weather. During the day it's driving around watching the swirling clouds and at night it's sitting outside taking in the spectacular lightning storms. I love storms and have been very close to a tornado in Gallatin, but have yet to see one in person. If I saw one, I'd be all "What's up bitch?" And it'd be all, "Not much, sir." And I'd be like "Shut up, bitch, and go make me a sandwich!" cool.gif

Come pick me up. You can take me to Sonic, and we'll eat really stinky chili wraps before taking it back to the rental place.

Wow, that's hardcore!

I greatly enjoyed the electrical storm last week. To be more specific, I enjoyed it on my roof with a good friend.
Daigle is all we need to make the night complete

Not to say you have actually been to Gallatin, because someone told me you think it's dirrty. Aguilera-style.

Well, fuck! I knew nothing about this until right now. God, now I'm scared to death. sad.gif I'm so sick of tornadoes. And it's coming straight to Gallatin since I just got home, of course. And, I'll be worrying about those loved ones of mine in Murfreesboro all night.

Don't worry, Damon will be all right. He has that huge staircase to hide in.

No, they'll probably be too damn lazy to actually go to the stairwells.

True. I only travel to the outskirts so as not to get too contaminated. BUT, now I have reason to come out there and clean you guys up through my solid basketball skills.

Aw shit, it's on now. Our home court advantage is a bitch for you outsiders not used to the dirtyness. Once the contamination hits you, victory will be ours.

Perhaps our secret weapon Mr. Davies could be coerced into participating in this event.
