Who's your favorite Jackson?

I voted Tito. He always wore those cool litle hats. Plus, his name is Tito.

Since LaToya wasn't an option, I voted for Michael. He had the best music.

I voted for Michael. I was listening to his earlier stuff on the way back from NC today. I'm always in the mood for "Bad" or "Beat It". But, I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

As did I. There's just something about a woman who can wear a key as an earring that screams "cool."

I voted for Michael....

Michael used to be really cool. His first three solo albums (Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad) are excellent. Even "Moonwalker" is really cool.....but everything after that is just rubbish......

Janet gets my vote b/c she's by far the sexiest of the lot. However with a few more facelifts and other *changes* MJ gets the nod.

Jermaine gave us that awesome hit "Dynamite", correct? If so, he is not poor by any means. ph34r.gif

Had to vote for Jackie, since I have no ties with any Jackson and Latoya wasn't there for the humor vote. Jackie was the one I hadn't even heard of.

Actually, I remember seeing an article in Rolling Stone last year about the demise of the Jackson family, and it said that, including Mr. & Ms. Jackson, every member of the Jackson family except Michael, Janet, and one other brother (I forgot which one) had at some point filed for bankruptcy.

I voted for Micheal, I still love his freaking music I could give a sh!t if he's crazy.... Just about every time I hear one of his songs I at least end up tapping my foot... Janet is cool with me too. I was down for that Jackson 5 reunion too biggrin.gif

Despite the fact that he is now quite scary and hasn't had a good song in many years, Michael still gets my vote.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

tito, for no other reason than his name. mj is a freak. "off the wall" is cool as hell, "thriller" was one of my favorites as a kid(i can't really listen to it now), and everything else is horrible. i like some jackson five stuff(or at least the bass drum at the beginning of "dancing machine"). now that i think about it tito was a shallow choice. i'll go with janet. she was cute and i like that eerie part in "escapade".

digsyslattery told me about a michael jackson special interview with barbara walters that is coming on thursday night.....one of the preview commercials for it bascially consists of a single frame close-up on his freaky face (scabby nose and all)....im sure it will be full of classic moments. the VCR will be set......

i just learned that there will be 2 documentaries on MJ shown on network television within the next 2 weeks.

"Living With Michael Jackson," which will be shown as part of a special "20/20" on ABC, is a 90-minute film by a British journalist. In the documentary, Jackson reveals that Prince Michael II, whom he calls "Blanket," was born to a surrogate mother he has never met. It will be shown on ABC Thursday Night at 7pm i believe....

NBC will air its own Michael Jackson "Dateline" special on February 17 at 9pm. "Michael Jackson Unmasked" is largely devoted to how Jackson has altered his looks throughout the years through plastic surgery. This should be good.....

So much Michael.....so little time

I would contend that Tito is a valid humour vote. smile.gif

I thoroughly enjoy most of Michael's stuff from the 80's, and Janet's stuff in general although I haven't really been into Janet ever.

I guess that instead of making a new topic, I'm just going to post this here.

Did anyone watch the Michael Jackson 20/20 special that came on Thursday? Since I was at the show, I recorded it and I must say that it is the saddest/funniest/scariest thing that I have ever seen Barbara Walters involved with. MJ talked about snatching his daughter while still in the placenta, he bottle fed his newborn baby (the one that was dangled) with a blanket over her head while violently bouncing her on his knee, he explained that he calls the baby "blanket" because he wants to "blanket" them with love...basically the special was just weird.

Let's not forget that he also held hands with a 12 year old boy and told kids he would be building a water park soon so they could bring their swim suits.... it was hilarious.

and also might i add that he climbed his "magic tree" (where he wrote such classics as "heal the world" and "black or white") during the show, and after a chaotically scary trip to the zoo commented "as long as i get to see the gorillas i'm satisfied. i love the gorillas."

Yeah, I watched it. My mind was blown about every five minutes during that special, and there were too many outrageous parts to even begin to discuss. But I find it really sad, mostly, because he's obviously mentally ill. So sad. I wonder what brianeno2 thinks about it.
