did anyone go see Jay Farrar on Fri or Sat? if so how was it?
p.s. this is my fisrt post on this board I hope you all welcome me with open arms(keyboards)- I have been reading these post for a while and I just decided to join up and I think I may know who some of you are (famous local musicians?)

No, I did not go to Jay Farrar, but I too would be curious to hear about it.

Son Volt is to Wilco what the Monkees were to the Beatles. They always wanted to be them, but never could be. It's not to say that Son Volt is bad, just as the Monkees were not bad. I have not heard Jay Farrar's solo material, so I am curious to hear about it as well.
