This is going to be a cool event in Nashville.. Please tell all your friends and come out to support these guys that put it together.

"...but I will remain..."

Every so often a figure appears who can take on the burdens of society. From the Smokey Mountains to the blues of Folsom Prison, few have displayed such dignity in the face of adversity. His very presence, recorded or otherwise, is a reassurance of all things right with Americana; and with John R. Cash's recent passing something seems urgently amiss with these united states. A vacuous void has presented itself, longing desperately to be filled. The question remains... who are these outside figures willing to take up the torch and bring new light to this darkness? It would seem that today's youth have little in common with the likes of an old folkster from 1930's Arkansas, until one realizes that things are never how they appear. Over the length of a stoic career, Johnny Cash, as he would come to be loved, only generated more listeners. Proving his critics wrong, all the while achieving what everyone strives for, to win over the hearts & minds of the populace. With a reserve tone and a gentle hand he uncovered a truth that is known to exist but difficult to manifest. Amazingly he made it feel effortless, without force, appearing as a natural extention of himself. In retrospect John Cash has alot more in common with the contemporary scene than first believed. With the current fixation on Freight culture, a deep respect is given to those that took out on the hard road. The adventurer's spirit springs forth in search of a more prosperous life. With this current state of affairs, History has come full circle. Another chapter in the good book is complete. In the continuous struggle for rightousness, no one artist can fill the boots that have been left empty. The following individuals have banded together in an attempt to continue the reproach and on-going freedom expressed in the spirit of John R. Cash.
