hey,
I was driving into san francisco today to go to work, and i heard a local artist by the name of Matt Nathanson play his version of Laid, It sounded pretty cool, and made me think of the features. Anyway, It may be being played in Nashville too? or not? but it will be on the next american pie movie.
K anyway,
Ciao

I heard it while waiting to see Count Bass D at Dancin In The District. And thought "why would someone cover a song in a style SO similar to the original?" Not that I would enjoy a Limp Bizkit style remake, but seems kinda silly to get an artist to cover a song just like the original, when they could just use the original.

I remember when the Features used to cover that song.. and it was good. That was, personally, my all time favorite Features era.

My buddies and I had an arguement about whether or not it was the original in the comercial. Why the hell bother? If I was that James guy, I'd be pissed they didn't just use the original-- which is a great song by the way.

(Note: I realize none of them are named James. You don't have to tell me that. It was a joke.)
