i'm sure there's more lawrence ks bands, and i'm sure they're good. seems that city has a good outcrop.

actually, if im not mistaken, on a technicality, mates of state aren't from KS. kori and jason met there and played in a bunch of bands in lawrence, but then moved to san francisco and formed mates of state, then they got married and now they are perfect.

but they might have formed the band before moving...not sure.
