Anyone else enjoying this show as much as I am? I know I could be setting myself up for hurt here. Sina's probably gonna tell me Lost blows and jamiecarroll probably only likes Lost's "old stuff," but I find the show quite entertaining. It's a great example of postmodern intertexuality lending to rapid typage and character development, i.e. I like looking for little references in the show and then saying "oo oo" and pointing at the bright screen.

You may be right about Sina, but that crack about JC is way out of line. She's the most genuine person you'll ever meet.

"Lost" airs on Wednesday nights on ABC at 7, right before "Alias" at 8.

"Lost" is the most addictive new series of the season and the best. Unlike "Desperate Housewives," which I also adore, I think "Lost" has a wealth of possibility and won't suffer from a huge second season backlach. "Lost" is excellently written (of course, David Fury and Drew Goddard of "Buffy" and "Angel" fame are on the staff) and amazingly acted. If you haven't been watching this show, rent or buy the DVD when it comes out in a few months. I'm sure viewing will be better without commercial breaks and crazy amounts of reruns in between episodes, plus all those inter-continuity references will be easier to spot.

Man, "Lost" is downright amazing. The best show of the year.

Actually, in a way, you're right. Matthew Fox is one of the actors on that show. And, you know, his breakthrough role was as Charlie Salinger on Party of Five. And Po5 is pretty much my favorite show ever. So yeah, I guess I do like Lost's "older stuff."

But seriously, I haven't seen Lost, so I can't rightly comment.

I always get confused because another character on "Lost" is named Charlie and its not the Matthew Fox character.

And I never watched "Party of Five"
