Ok you gamers out there- Who's got it? I've been playing my friend Zach's copy since yesterday and will pick up my own as soon as possible. Awesome stuff. Discuss.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

Not officially, but apparently some nerds out there have already found a way.

My verdict will come tomorrow morning. I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seats.

You can play it on a network I thought, just not the internet, except for the special way.

Since my apartment-mate and I both have gamecubes and tvs, we'll be doing the 8 player as soon as we can get the GC netadapter.

Team mode is a blast, and the new battle modes are fun as well.

yeah i actually picked it up on monday because im a REALLY big nerd and sorta demanded it (i preordered it like a month early).

hmmm my feelings are sort of mixed so far. but all i have really played are single player modes. there is a lot going on and i think if you were new to the mario kart series, the tasks might be a little daunting at first. the power slide boost thingy isnt as tight or as fun as i remember it being in SMK64. the new special power ups are fun.

ill be taking this down to florida with me when i got with a bunch of friends so we'll check out the new battle modes then. too many great videogames coming out lately. its really hard keeping up.
Eh.

Pretty fun stuff. I agree-- there's a lot going on. Almost too much-- even for Kart64 veterans. I think this stuff is necessary for the re-playability, though. The co-op stuff seems a little unnecessary at this point, but it does offer more chances for strategery. The chain chomp item is pretty sweet, as is the wicked huge bowser shell. My buddy opened up Waluigi's kart and I like that one a lot. All in all, I give it a thumbs up. I just wish there was less shit going on in the background.

Ha Ha.....

I agree about too much stuff in the background. I get dizzy sometimes. Give me Pong any day of the week over these new-fangled thingamabobs you kids play with nowadays.
That's so NA.

Toad and Toadette make this game for me right now. They rock!

The Special Cup at 150cc is too much though... and I hear tell that I've still got a ways to go.

I love this game. The multiplayer makes it magical.

This game is evil and takes up way too much of my time unintentionally. I hate it.

By which I mean I love it.

2 items (King Boo's car and the special parade car) away from unlocking all things,

I've never played it, but I've heard it is pretty bad unless you are a uber-fan of the movies. The story is supposed to be interesting, but the game is supposedly not much fun to play. I still may give it a rental one of these days.
