TOPIC: Meeting brianeno2
Posted  Sunday, February 10, 2002 at 1:15 PM
Post 1 of 29
Did everyone who made it to the show have the pleasure of meeting mr. brianeno2? He was quite pleasant and even looked a little like his namesake. He claims to have one of Eno's Roxy Music-era gettups - the one with the wings I think. God bless you eno.

Indeed. Actually, I was a little disappointed by how friendly he was in person. Eno, next time I expect you to stir up some shit.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Keith, you are destined to rock. Never forget this.

It struck me that he could be Rollum's long-lost half-brother whose dad is Swedish instead of Spartan...

Yes!  I met Mr Eno2, and it made my night!  There were definitely shades of his namesake in his appearance, and shades of Rollum in his mannerisms.  It was a pleasure to meet you, sir!

Yes, he and Rollum have the same cadence. Fascinating.

There were a few obvious giveaways, one being that eno2 looked a bit like the original. Also, he was hanging closely to Rollum and had the same vocal cadence/mannerisms.

I DO NOT LOOK OR ACT LIKE ROLLUM FUCKING HAAS.

Is that better Keith?
Actually, by playing completely ignorant, I was able to gain a one up on everyone. Some of you knew who I was beforehand, so don't act all bad.  I knew who everyone on here was for quite some time.  I can't be an ass to anyone in real life unless I know you.  My life is nothing but a sham.  I will take it as a complement if I look like the real Brian Eno (if you are referring to post 1974).  I don't have an eno getup but I do have a t-shirt with him wearing it.  I was merely joking.  I liked everyone I met.  Neu is every bit as mean and cruel in real life as in this fantasy world.  Lauren is nice.  Keith is nice.  Jamie seems really nice.  Freezetag ran off in fear.  I saw but didn't talk to featuresgirl.

I think that Mr. Eno 2 should go ahead and introduce the band at the next show he can catch.

'Full Member' sounds like the title of a pornographic film.
Mr Eno2, you are definitely post-'74 Eno, and definitely seemed like a nice fellow.  You should come to Nashville more often.

PS-Neuboy, though seemingly intimidating at first, is really just cuddly little teddy bear.

Yes, yes, yes! Great comedy. Definitely post '74 eno. You're blowing my cover Jamie. How can I ever maintain my image when people think I'm a nice person?

the only mannerism that brianeno2 and rollum share is their tendency to clap whenever they approve of something.

I have to blow your cover. I want to announce to the world that last night, Neuboy went to the grocery and bought me milk (although it was Sweet Acidopholis, not the 1/2 AB that I asked for), cream cheese and bagels in return for nothing but a thank you. Sorry Neuboy, your secret is no longer safe with me.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Neuboy is truly a bundle of love and goodwill. Just last week I saw him help an old lady across the street.

On another note, has meeting a few of us deterred Mr Eno2 from posting here?

I'm not deterred from posting here, but the mystery and fun of it is gone. My clapping upon approval was direct theft.

brianeno, today i was reading some TS Eliot and i came across your little quote on your signature. it made me think of the features in the midst of a somewhat excruciating modern poetry class. it made me smile.
maybe i could sing along
to your neverending songs,
i'm just looking for some fun
