I just finished watching the E! True Hollywood Story of the Beach Boys, and it just struck me as to how arrogant and bastardly Mike Love is. I remeber watchinh a special on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on VH1, and seeing Mike Love's acceptance speech. What an arrogant fuck!

Amen. Mike Love sucks. And he ALWAYS looks like he got dressed in the dark. And he's always wearing some tasteless hat. Take off yer fucking hat, Mike! What's the matter, you don't want all the California Girls to know you're bald? You're 55, it happens...

haha! yeah, i remember watching it with you in the room during school. he obviously thinks a bit much of himself. didn't he take a shot at billy joel during that speech? mike love taking shits at billy joel is unacceptable.

I don't know about that, but I know he did take a shot at Paul McCartney in that speech. Both the Beatles and the Beach Boys were being inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame. McCartney didn't show (because of a dispute he was having with Yoko). So Mike Love (wearing hideous ballcap and tux) blasted McCartney, saying he was ungrateful and unappreciative.
