i'm sure i've brought this up before, but stephaniew's signature got me thinking about it. if anyone has not seen "pod people", they need to rent it soon. trumpy is one of the greatest characters ever. "mitchel" is also a hell of an episode.
Nothin' gets in my way....Not even locked doors!

Yes trumpy is great, as is the Mitchell one. I love this show. There's a certain word that's banned right now that if you type it, it will appear as something Crow often says in the shows.

I had seen MST3K before, but after TF and I started dating, I enjoyed it more and more. So, I bought the two 4 disc sets that they have put out for TF. They are here at my apartment, and I have watched the first set. The shorts always really entertain me. And, "The Creeping Terror" is just the cheesiest attempt at a Sci-Fi movie I have ever seen.
And, don't get me started on "Manos: Hands of Fate." TF told me before we watched it that it was going to be painful. And, it was. Torgo is awesome, though.

Does anyone remember "Master Ninja II"? It has always been my favorite.

Hands down the best MST3K ever. Manos: Hands of Fate. The Chevy sales ad in front is better than most of the shows.I used to have a Torgo screen saver years ago. Your computer would go to sleep, and Torgo would come limping across the screen looking for Master. I'm laughing now thinking about the dreadful open where they just drive for 20 minutes looking at scenery. There's on point where they cross the 180 degree line (the film geeks will get that reference) and the car looks like its going the other way. Crow yells out "No!!! They didn't forget something did they?" Hilarious.

OK... explain the part about how the DVD's that you bought for Tom Foolery are at your apartment. The sooner he gets them, the sooner he can host an MST3K party for message board members.

I watched Mitchell for the second time last week. I liked it much better this time. It's quite funny and full of random plot points. If you watch the theatrical trailer that's included on the DVD (and who wouldn't want to watch it?), you can tell they had to cut a lot of stuff out of the MST3K version.

here, here (or is it hear, hear?)... "Hands, the hands of fate" is one of the best. I didn't realize they were jumping the 180...I'll have to watch that one again. I vote "A Date With Your Family" as the best short. "Laserblast" and "Danger! Death Ray" are also way up there for full-length. Has anyone here seen "Soultaker"? It was the days of Crow's new voice (after Tracy B. left and stopped writing for the show), but it was still a really good one that I caught one Saturday morning. I haven't seen it since.
Why would you do that?

Well, the last time TF was here, he left the first set that I had at the time on my couch. The second set was on it's way from the eBay dealer. I will bring them...don't worry. And, I want to be there when the MST3K party takes place.

You can never attend enough MST3K parties. Besides, those parties were kind of private as opposed to the one we are talking about right now.

I will bring the little finger sandwiches made of turkey and swiss, covered with this poppyseed sauce. Damn, those things are GOOD.
Oh, and sausage balls. I can make some damn good sausage balls.

As long as you're bringing opium-laced snacks, I guess it's OK for you to come.

I've only seen the last 3 seasons (starting with The Brain Guy and Professor Bobo's inclusion, along with Pearl) but I absolutely love the show. The show ruled my Saturdays in 8th grade when I would watch the episodes both times they were shown. My favorites would have to be "Pumaman" (starring an Aztec indian and a Khaki-ed hero), "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank" (a hilarious anti-anteater "Casablanca" rip-off starring Raul Julia), "Prince Of Space," "Parts: The Clonus Horror," and "Werewolf" (starring one of the Sheen/Estevez clan and a host of actors with accents of unknown origin; the title is pronounced both "Were-wilv" and "Whar-wulv"). I also have some DVDs that I must watch when Midterm Hell Week is over.
