They've been threatening for years, but it looks like MST3K is finally getting taken off cable TV. This saturday, tune in for "The Screaming Skull" and light a candle!

It does sadden me, but I haven't been able to catch it in it's current time slot for a while now. I caught some of Boggy Creek II this weekend and it's hilarity rocked me. I know another box set is coming out soon, so there are those to look for. Still, it sucks that this is happening. Maybe some other channel will buy the rights to all 10 years so both eras can be shown together. I'm still only aware of the Sci-Fi years, so I need more.

while not as bad as the KTMA years, the Sci-Fi era of MST3K do the show absolutely no justice at all.
and while its sad to see it leave cable television forever, i regretfully say it has been coming for a few years now.
Eh.

"The Final Sacrifice", "Devil Doll", and "Riding with Death" are some of my favorites MST3K epidoes of all! I think the sci-fi episodes had their moments.

Stay soft pink and oily MST3K.

I'm gonna take the cultural high road and popular low road and say it is about time. Beyond the original writing staff, and even throughout their run, so much of the humor on this show has been immature to the point of insulting the viewer. There's alot more fun to be had just watching these movies yourself, because very little of what the robots say is worthwhile anymore.

I haven't been 13 for a long time, and the show would like to forget that fact sometimes.

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

I don't think that 13 year olds would find the show very funny.

Yeah, but the show was not aimed at that age group (that's why it was on Comedy Central, not Nickelodeon)!
