I live on North Highland and there is smoke everywhere. The police have the entire downtown area blocked off and HUGE flames can be seen. Anyone know whats burning up?

I was kinda wondering what was going on earlier. I drove through there about 6 tonight and I saw a lot of smoke and flames. Looked like some building or something across from foodland caught on fire. It looked like it was coming from a church, but I'm not sure.

it is actually still smoking!! (i just drove past)

This is an old post, but I remember that night. It's the first time I've ever walked INto Wallstreet to get OUT of some smoke.
mmmmm.... Irony. Tastes like chicken.

On a semi-related topic: Did a fireman die or something? There was a HUGE funeral procession today that blocked up the Greenland / Tennessee intersection for like 15 minutes. There was a procession of firetrucks and cops standing at attention and the whole deal.
