pardon my ignorance, but what the hell are you getting at here?
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

Just out of curiosity... Whey are you transferring from MD to tape to CD? Why not go straight from MD to CD?

Incidently, your rig is very similar to the one we're using. It produces INCREDIBLE results! Who build your Audio Technica mics? We're using some from Sound Professionals.

Yes, you caught me.  I was just about to go back and edit the message, hoping that no one would catch my pas faux.  However, blightman read it before I could fix it.  I apologize.

However, I think the question is still valid.  Why take the intermediate step between the original source and the CD?  Also, do you strongly prefer DAT over mini-discs?

the maxell hs/4 60m are the dat(dds) tapes I use I was just being detailed - and yes I strongly prefer dat over md that is what I just upgraded from - to me there is not much of a comparison

I couldn't tell you the difference between an attenuator cable and a fallopian tube, but I sure would be interested in finding out how to get one of those cd's.

i'm assuming you're both mtsu rim students, or possibly dropouts. such conversations do not happen within the general

public. mr. blightman sir, do you have any boots to trade?

Blightman, I'm so so glad you've decided to post here!  I will be your servant for life if you'll tape some Features shows and let me in on them.  Is tonight still the test run?

Your rig sounds great.

Actually, I have no formal training in the recording arts (nor did I attend MTSU). I'm just trying to pick up as much as I can as I go along. I've felt a very strong need to preserve as much of the Features (and Fl. Oz.) music as possible. It's great to see someone else investing some time and money to do the same thing!
