Hi. I'm a musical idiot. I can't tell punk rock from new wave. But I know some of you have some appreciation for punk. So I thought I would point out that this week marked the 25th anniversary of the Sex Pistol's seminal album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. Reuter's ran an article talking about the record's influence on rock music. Discuss among yourselves.

He also doesn't care for the Beatles. Insult him.

I'm thinking about it, and I just can't decide which is more grievous, not liking the Simpsons or not liking the Beatles. Yep, I think yours is worse, TF. I guess you're an Elvis person?

Ok, "Never Mind the Bollocks" is a very good album, but it sounds just a tad bit dated to me. The Sex Pistols sounds like your middle of the road hard rock band. The only thing that set them apart from the rest of those groups was John Lydon. If you're going to talk about influential "punk" albums, The Clash's debut record is overall more fullfilling, tuneful, as well as more politically powerful than "Bollocks".
