Found this link for some of the new songs Radiohead is working on for their upcoming CD. Very melodic stuff. Reminds me of a cross between The Bends and a singer who's been listening to a LOT of Jeff Buckley.

Does anyone know if radiohead has resigned to Capitol? I heard that they might be starting their own record label. That would be cool.

Thanks Brian! That rocks.

Best part about this is that its coming straight from the admin of the official message board of a totally unrelated band.

For me, Radiohead can do no wrong. I am eager with anticipation.

And by the by, they recently said in an interview that they intend on trying to recreate the recording sessions "feel" of OK Computer, going into the studio with a bunch of songs, keeping what they like and invariably creating new ones along the way. For the sound of the album, they claimed they expect it to be most like The Bends, but The Bends as written by a band that had experienced Kid A/Amnesiac. They claim that they are trying very hard not to use any computer generated music, but they followed that with "we'll see how long that lasts..."

You may like grandma's yard gnomes, but I've seen Rock City. Remember it.

Yeah, figured I'd spread the love of the newfound songs. I've read the same interview about how the new album should sound. I love everything they do, but it would be nice for them to head in the direction them seem to be indicating.
