its been a while since we've discussed this - dreams.

i had a dream last night that i was watching old smashing pumpkins videos and everyone was so happy but billy, man, he looked like he was going to cry and/ or kill somone the whole time.
he still had his grunge hair, too. it made me way sadd. then, in my dream, i said, "Im so glad he is happy with zwan now".

i can't tell if i should get a medal for being a music snob, or for being a goddamn dork.

anyway, i also have been having what is very well known at my restaraunt as "server nightmares" lately. where you try to wait on a billion tables at once, but you forget their orders or can't get to them in time, whatever.
nightmares are intersting. i think they're very self - revealing.

i rarely have nightmares. actually its been forever. i sort of want one though. id like to wake and and be relieved instead of wake up and be disappointed.

last night i actually had a dream about a board member who shall remain unnamed. it wasnt sexual or anything but i dont want anyone to be creeped out by me. it was very random. we were like playing some sort of game in the gym and he/she was my partner or we kept ending up next to each other or something. i wish i could remember more.. maybe it could be interpreted as a features show to come soon.

I dreamt I was back for the first day of school already. That qualifies as a nightmare.

It, as well as the whole night's sleep, was cut short by a kitty walking on me.

I keep having wedding nightmares. It's like it's the day of the wedding all of sudden and whatever I have actually gotten done in real life is all that's done in my dream wedding. For instance, before I booked a florist, they were no flowers and we had to run to Kroger at the last minute. These dreams are very unnerving - the initial ones were really bad since nothing at all had been done.

I had a dream that I cut my hair prematurely ( I made a vow not to cut before last night), and then I met Kelsey Grammer who was signing autographs.

Okay, sorry. That was me. I'm sure Sina agrees with me, though. Don't do it, dude!

I just want to point out that I could have had so much fun with this, but I didn't.

I have nightmares all the time. They usually involve men dressed in black coming to my house and wanting to kill me and my family. I sometimes dream about my pets dying...those are the worst. But, usually, they're just dreams about bad guys chasing me. I used to have dreams about people kidnapping me all the time. I always keep my TV remote by my bed so I can turn on the TV when I wake up in the middle of the night from a nightmare to take my mind off of it.

I had a dream about a message board member that I've never seen once, but I don't remember what it was about.

And, Rachel, I would suggest that you savor your good dreams. I don't get those too often, and nightmares are not fun. I screamed in the middle of the night a few weeks ago and woke myself up after I dreamt that I found one of my dogs dead. My solution to waking up in the middle of good dreams is just going back to sleep, which means that I always wake up late because I don't want my good dream to end.
But what will happen to the boy when the circus comes to town?

The worst is waking up crying. I've done that a few times. I've dreamt that someone I know has just died, or guys have cheated on me, or something, and I'll wake up in tears. It's so weird b/c once you wake up and you figure out what's going on, you're like, "oh..i was just..dreaming..well, i guess i can stop now, and...go back to sleep." ugh, I hate that. I usually NEVER have good dreams. I've dreamt about features concerts, and one time Roger was in my dream, but he looked nothing like himself (of course) and I was like, "man, he was so much hotter when I last saw him..what happened?" Dreams are weird...whenever people compare movies to dreams, I never know what they're talking about. No kind of art has really replicated anything like what my dreams are like.
Why would you do that?

Yeah, waking up crying is terrible. Whenever I have the family member or pet dying dreams, I wake up crying. But, I'm just so relieved, yet worried, when I wake up.

I've had a few Features show dreams. One of the I posted about a while ago, which was probably the weirdest. When I was really nervous about not seeing them I had a dream that I finally got in but right before they started I got into a fight with the girl next to me and I got kicked out. I was like "Oh god, its a sign.. I'll never get to see them!" Well, that one wasnt true. Thank goodness.

A girl who works in my lab had a Features-related dream. The funny thing is, she's never even seen them and I'm sad to report that she didn't like what I played for her. In the dream, she, myself and our boss were at some beach (this makes sense beacause the three of us are going to a conference in Ft. Lauderdale at the end of the month). We were squatting in some house when the real owner showed up who turned out to be "the bass player" from the band and some chick (his girlfriend?). For some reason, they had a lot of pastries which they shared with us, but when the chick's parents showed up, they were real pissed. Eventually the whole band showed up to play a house party, but when they found out we had been staying there, they chased us down. Then she woke up...

Okay, random-- I know.
