Everyone looks up to someone and everyone wishes that they could have "so-and-so's" _____ SO in the tradition of the oddly thought provoking "celebrity crushes" thread, I thought I would ask the question: who does everyone consider to be the coolest person to have ever lived?
I, of course, have many but when it comes down to it I have to say that Richard Dawson is the coolest person ever in the DigsyBooks. Here's why:
A-He's British. He's from the coolest country ever
B-The Sideburns. If you see me in person, you'll notice that I'm trying to have his sideburns but only the true Richard can pull it off
C-His clothes. Dear sweet mother of monkeys, this man wore the coolest clothes in the 70s. Watch Match Game and see...he had zip-boots as well.
D-He called himself Dickie Dawson....with PRIDE.
E-He was a total ladies man, very chivalrous and charming. Hopefully I'll treat a woman as well as he did (look at Family Feud!)
Well that's my choice. The runners up were, of course, Zach Galifianakis, Tony Slattery, Paul Lynde and Charles Nelson Reilly. Now that my meaningless choice is out of the way, I'm interested in hearing what you people have to say.
