TOPIC: Oasis members in auto accident!
Posted  Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at 10:50 AM
Post 1 of 15
I just read that Noel, Andy, and Jay? were injured in a bad automobile accident on their way to Indianapolis. It said that there were no really bad injuries, just that they had to rest for a few days. I thought I would pass along the news to all the Brit-pop fans on the message board.

Jay is the touring keyboardist. I guess I'm glad that I didn't buy a ticket, but I hope they all make a speedy recovery.

You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

i believe so. he hurt his hand and has to go back to the hospital today for further treatment. apparenty they were in a taxi. it hit another car head on, with noel in the front seat. lots of bruises and scrapes. hopefully that was the extent of it.

it was nice to see mention of this on the official weezer site. very thoughtful of them.

That's where I heard about it. I guess Weezer are fans of Oasis since they played both "D'You Know What I Mean?" and "Supersonic" when they hosted a radio show in Philadelphia last week.

Let me interpret it for you:

This Guest was born in Indiana. This Guest is proud that an accident in his home state caused (mild) misfortune for members of your beloved Oasis (and Kula Shaker).

I wouldn't call the guest a prick personally. I just assumed it was some manner of joke. I'm not said guest by the way.

I can't play drums very well.
I am a horse with no name.
